Developed by Joseph Pilates, Pilates (puh-lah-teez) is a method
of body conditioning and injury rehabilitation that focuses on
the core of the body or the "Powerhouse."  It emphasizes
integrated breathing and orderly, controlled movement.  Since
the primary focus is on the core, strong abdominal and back
muscles are a major benefit!

Unlike yoga, there is a pure focus on body conditioning without
a connection to mystic forces or lifestyle parameters.

Our Pilates focuses on standing and mat-based conditioning
exercises.
