Pilates Certification Course
Developed by Joseph Pilates, Pilates (puh-lah-teez) is a method of
body conditioning and injury rehabilitation that focuses on the core
of the body or the "Powerhouse." It emphasizes integrated
breathing and orderly, controlled movement. Since the primary
focus is on the core, strong abdominal and back muscles are a
major benefit!
Our Pilates training is a practical introduction to teaching and
instructing mat-based Pilates with and without accessory equipment.
We emphasize strong form and preservation of the original
technique to promote safety and effectiveness.
Our program prepares students to take the national exam
administered by the Pilates Method Alliance.
We offer two training options:
- Basic Pilates Mat Certification (100 hours)
- Advanced Pilates Mat Certification and Corrective Exercise
Specialist (200 hours)
